Vacation Spoilers
2009.06.11 20:02:02

Summer is here!  The kids are out of school and well deserved vacations are upon us.  There is nothing more stressful than returning home after a great vacation to find that one of your appliances or fixtures decided to take a vacation of their own in your absence.

Examples of this are flooding caused by your A/C line backing up, your toilet overflowing or a water pipe bursting.  Other examples are the smell of rotting food caused by your refrigerator or freezer going bad.

These situations are not uncommon and leave many that experience them feeling overwhelmed.  What do you do?  Where do you begin?  Who is going to clean all of this mess up?

If you or a loved one has this to deal with, do not fret!  Pick up the phone and call the team at Associated Services.  Let our experienced trained professionals take care of all the headaches for you!  We can be reached 24-Hours a day at 850.524.6763 or call the office at 850.681.3148 and let us take care of the rest.

Rain, Rain Go Away……
2009.04.02 19:36:32

Rain, rain go away. Come again another day.

I’m sure I’m not the only one singing this tune! Remember the sayings, “Be careful what you ask for” and “Ask and ye shall receive.” I think both of these apply today! We have all been praying for rain to fix the drought we are in and rain…we have received! Just think of all the beautiful fruits and vegetables this rain will produce. This being said, we are all getting a little more rain than we bargained for.

With all of this “extra” we are getting calls from customers in need of emergency water extraction. This is not uncommon. We are happy to respond immediately to any of those in need. We have the proper equipment to dry you out.

Remember it is best to take care of your excess water problem immediately. Allowing water to stand will encourage the growth of bacteria. This bacteria is known as mold and may lead to health concerns as well as structural complications.

When you see there is a problem, don’t get overwhelmed! Just pick up the phone and give us a call at 850.681.3148 or our emergency number 850.524.6763. We are available to you 24-Hours a day!

Spring Is Here!!!
2009.03.25 17:11:22

Spring is finally here!  We all know what that means…  Warm air, ball games, Easter, blooming flowers and pollen!  Along with spring comes the annual “Spring Cleaning” we all do.

Spring Cleaning is the yearly act of cleaning a house from top to bottom which takes place in the first warm days of the year which typically are in the spring, hence the name. However it has also come to be synonymous with any kind of heavy duty cleaning or organizing.

It’s time to open the windows and doors and let the fresh air come in!  Start cleaning out the closets and garage.  Along with all of your cleaning, don’t neglect your carpets!

Carpet manufacturers recommend you steam clean your carpets annually, at a minimum to maintain their integrity, warranty and reduce allergens.  Twice a year is preferable.  Think of all the dust, dirt and pollen residue lurking beneath the top of your carpet that general vacuuming can’t take care of.

Call the Professionals at Associated Services to clean your carpets today!  Scheduling your appointment is fast and easy! Simply pick up the phone and dial 850.681.3148 and leave the rest to us!
