 Associated Services and Supplies, Inc., was started in 1975 by Robert and Mary Walsh as a part- time endeavor while working other jobs. At the time Robert was managing a national freight company and Mary was managing a prestigious local law firm. In 1985 they made the decision to leap and devoted their full-time attention to Associated Services & Supplies. "The business has continued to grow over the years and in an effort to meet the needs of our clients, the company has expanded it services to include carpet and upholstery cleaning, tile floor stripping and waxing, ceramic tile cleaning, water and fire restoration, crime and trauma scene cleaning, marble grinding and polishing and sale of supplies such as toilet tissue, hand towels, liners, soap, dispensers, etc." says Mary Walsh. Robert and Mary Walsh as owners are still hands-on in the business. The organizational structure of the company is: General Manager-Joe Walsh, Office Manager-Sherry Walsh, Sales and Operations Manager-Mark Herring, Sales-Joe Acevedo, Field Operation Managers-Darren Ward and Nate Fields. The office has been located at 742 West Madison Street, Tallahassee, Florida since 1990 and employs approximately 75 people. Associated Services offers retirement benefits to it's employees through participation in a 401K and Profit Sharing Plan. Other benefits that are available to the employees are life insurance, AFLAC, and dental insurance.
